What to Do Near Cancun

Isla Mujeres

Isla Mujeres is only fifteen minutes from Cancun by ferry and should be seen when you vacation in Cancun. The island is idyllic as you can explore it on a golf cart, scooter, or with a bicycle, and makes for a fantastic day trip. From the hotel zone you can get on the ferry as the port is only ten minutes away, so you can coordinate this day trip without any help

Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen is an exciting forty-five minute drive from Cancun. Playa del Carmen should be put on your ‘to do’ list when you vacation in Cancun as you can go to the beach, do some great shopping and get the bohemian vibe at the nightclubs in Playa del Carmen. You can take the ferry to Island of Cozumel from Playa del Carmen too.

 

Mayan Ruins
